Item Description: |
Several spatial data analysis techniques are applied to remotely sensed imagery to delineate vegetation distribution indicating potential mosquito breeding sites in remote semi-arid West Africa. Methods can be used to detect changes in mosquito abundance and contribute to malaria epidemic and other infectious disease early-warning-systems. Role: design, analysis, writing. |
