Often considered a distinct and alluring strand of French feminist writing and philosophy, I draw together possibilities for its use and explore implications for the study of organisations especially recent debates in organisation studies concerning engendering difference. As a form of embodied writing, &#xE9;criture f&#xE9;minine brings with it a variety of issues for understanding embodiment, writing and the feminine, most notably its political potential and how gendered practices interpolate how writing is conceived. With focus on Irigaray&#x2019;s and Cixous&#x2019;s mode of writing the feminine, I expose the intersection between sex/text as a way of decentring conventional modes of writing.
