Item Description: |
This paper proposes a new method based on transformation of random variables to evaluate the reliability of wireless transmissions in the presence of a single interfering signal representing the undesired transmission from a neighboring station. In addition, it is shown, for the first time and fundamentally, that the overall transmission reliability can be factored as a product of the desired transmission reliability and another factor owing to the undesired interference. This paper was inspired by the NERC funded project where the wireless sensor network is deployed in an extreme environment and the effect of interference between the transceivers has to be analyzed.IF: 1.921 |
