This is an international collaborative project involving researchers from Hong Kong Polytechnic University to address a major technological challenge in using water-soluble graphene quantum dots (GQDs) for device application. The GQDs were prepared using a facile and low-cost method based on the microwave-assisted pyrolysis technique. This work has demonstrated, for the first time, the novel use of these GQDs in the production of white LED that will have a major impact in the solid-state lighting industry.Impact Factor: 5.968International Collaboration: Hong Kong Polytechnic UniversityCitation so far : 0 (published in Nov. 2012) |
