Flynn wrote NERC application, employing Kruskopf, conceived experiment design and co-wrote paper. Paper criticises the long standing belief that chlorophyll equates to biomass, upon which almost all plankton ecology relies. Paper was supported by an editorial on the issue (NewPhytol 169:449-450 Raven & Beardall). |
