Item Description: This experiment challenged the assumption that quasistatic tunnelling theory explains ionisation in ultrafast laser pulses. I wrote the application to secure laser beamtime, conceived the experiment and led experimental operations. I performed or oversaw all data processing and analysis, including the comparison with theory and wrote most of the manuscript.
