Item Description: |

A novel class of binary block codes is proposed. These codes have variable block length, and, at the same time, variable minimum Hamming distance while conventional block codes have fixed block length and fixed minimum Hamming distance, and convolutional codes have variable block length and fixed minimum Hamming distance. Hence, this property is unique and can be used in many applications including real-time adaptive coding in wireless packet networks.
|
