This is the major journal in the field of composite materials and, for the engineering problem concerned, this paper presents the first completely experimentally verified numerical solution in the literature. This work is collaborative with the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Tohoku University, Japan, and it has attracted considerable attention in the field. Further funding (Fund (B) No. 17360404, US$130K) has been provided by the Japan Ministry of Education to continue the collaborative research (N. Hu, hu@ssl.mech.tohoku.ac.jp). |
