Item Description: This work was a collaboration between academic partners Lee and Clifton and industrial partners Kennett and Dourish at Vernalis Research UK. The idea for the project was based on a joint grant written by Lee and Clifton (co-investigators). Somerville provided expertise on anatomy and histology for the immunohistochemistry. Lee developed the immunohistochemistry protocols and carried out all experimental work and analyses. . Findings from this study informed the drug discovery process of a new anti-obesity agent at Vernalis Research UK.
