Item Description: |
This well cited paper arises from an international collaboration with the Departments of Chemistry and Physics, University of Aveiro. It is a practical application of research into energy transfer in mixed lanthanide silicates using our novel modelling program for energy transfer in these compounds. Materials for emissive displays are currently a very active area of research, and the method of control of emission colour by spatial control of energy transfer in mixed lanthanide complexes using random energy transfer “traps” and “blocks” is both simple and elegant. |
