This paper had a major impact upon understanding stable cluster formation in colloidal suspensions. It presents experimental evidence and theoretical explanations and shows how colloidal forces can lead to the development of stable clusters. It also underpins an EPSRC grant (EP/C528557/1) in collaboration with Loughborough University and the Institute of Biocolloid Chemistry in Ukraine. Led to two invited lectures at Nano Aqua International Conference held in Cairo in (11 April 2010) and at Universtat Rovira I Vargili in Spain (8 October 2010). |
