| Item Description: |
Published in the leading journal for corrosion research (Impact factor 3.7 citations 4), this work presents the first use of time-lapse microscopy to show microstructural corrosion. The work has resulted in two further research projects (Tata Steel, value £70,000 jon.elvins@tatasteel.com) and collaboration with the French Corrosion Institute (dominique.thierry@institut-corrosion.fr). Interest in the work has led to two conference invites including NACE 2011 (Houston,Tx, USA) and the highly prestigious Gordon Research Conference 2012 (New London, New Hampshire, USA). |
