Item Description: |
This paper, producedin collaboration with Prof SM Hu from Tsinghua University and Prof Brian A. Barsky from University of California, Berkeley, is published in CGF, a major journal in the field of computer graphics. Through innovative modification and integration of grid-based and particle based CFD techniqes, this work provides, for the first time, an effective solution of recreating visual effects of gaseous fluids mixed with low and high speed flows. Commented by the reviewers, the new algorithm solves an urgent problem in graphical fluid simulation and has significant application potential in the creative industry. |
