Item Description: IEEE Transaction on Wireless Communications is a top transaction on wireless communications. In this paper we studied the resource allocation problems in the IEEE 802.16 systems and proposed an accurate analytic model for the bandwidth request schemes with and without piggybacking. The research work is important and can be applied to planning and optimization of IEEE 802.16 systems.
