Abstract
We for the first time have demonstrated a piezoelectric energy scavenging device that is able to harvest energy from multiple frequencies. The device has been built and experimentally characterised. External circuits have also been designed and implemented.

Item Description: |
Vibrational energy scavenging devices have been a very attractive topic around the world. The challenges such as high resonant frequency and narrow frequency band of structures are still setting obstacles for prototypes being implemented in the real application. This paper reports design and characterisation of a new piezoelectric scavenging device that has multiple resonant frequencies in the low frequency range. This work is the foundation of a patent application. |
