Despite the introduction of internships for students to gain work experience, the rise in student numbers are forcing this initiative to be reassessed. This study explores an lternative approach to widening the opportunities for students to gain additional employability skills through extracurricular activities that involves the integration of technology. This included the application of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and Wheel of Learning pedagogical frameworks. By applying these frameworks, it considers how technology should be integrated to teach a particular concept, which incorporates an effective pedagogical approach. The outcome from this study reveals the importance of extra-curricular activities, how they can enhance the student learning experience and the future careers of graduates.
