Item Description: Originality: Highly innovative publication Published in high quality peer-reviewed International journal as an ‘Original article’. Very novel findings related to understanding the alterations in sympatho-adrenal metabolism in response to sprint training. The strength of this study’s results lie in its furthering understanding the metabolic responses to sprint training which has implications world-wide. Significance: According to the latest Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Report (2010) Amino Acids Impact Factor 4.106; 82 out of 286 journals under ‘Endocrinology and Metabolism’.
