Abstract: |
The purpose of this study was to identify the root causes of inefficient supply chain management (SCM) for agricultural food items in Bangladesh. To achieve this goal, the study gathered the opinions of farmers as well as the perspectives of all relevant supply chain stakeholders. It was found that the application of information technology (IT) through mobile phones, namely m-commerce, could maintain a seamless flow of communication between farmers and retailers, effectively eliminating unnecessary middlemen. |
