Item Description: The journal PLoSONE has an Impact Factor of 4.4. This paper is the result of an international collaboration between research groups of high standing in their fields of study. This paper answers a question of great interest to researchers using accelerometry for movement studies; which is the best ODBA or VeDBA? Using these two measures of acceleration, the paper derives regression equations linking human energy expenditure to acceleration. This paper was ranked number 1 in the BioMedLib Library Citation Service out of all current journal publications on this topic.
