This paper, published 11/2012, is the first to investigate the evolution of visible emission in active fibers exhibiting photodarkening effect. It is recognized to provide important insight for this, still unknown, effect. The Work was done under the largest EU project on Fibre Lasers involving only 3 Universities and 16 companies.Impact Factor: 3.75 International Collaboration: iXFIber (SME, France), Perfos (SME, France), Politecnico di Torino (Italy). Citations so far : 7 (from 11/2011) Follow up: Leadership of a large group within LIFT also including Gooch&Housego (UK), SPI (UK), DILAS (Germany) to progress this research |
