Item Description: Conceived the study, with DWS, JDRH and TKD, to conduct the first tagging of ocean sunfish as a model planktivore that feeds are sparsely distributed prey. Obtained the funding and implemented the fieldwork with post-docs and Ph.D students (JDRH and TKD). Contributed to the writing of the paper. Showed for the first time how movement behaviour is optimised across habitats with different prey fields. Has provided some of the most convincing evidence for the hotly debated topic of the existence of Levy movement patterns.
