Item Description: Flynn wrote NERC application, employing Jones, conceived experiments and co-wrote paper. Paper contributes to the ongoing debate on the role of diatoms and copepod productivity that has divided the marine community, showing that contrary to recent arguments, poor food quality can explain observed failure of diatoms to support copepod growth.
