This is one of the publications arising from a long standing collaboration with MIT and Sandia Laboratories on adaptivity in explicit solid dynamics (J. Stewart, Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, Grant Number: Doc. No. 1152 under A0260, jrstewa@sandia.gov). The work and associated funding facilitated three PhD studentships at Swansea and contributed to developments of the PRESTO codes at Sandia which are replacing the old PRONTO explicit dynamic code. |
