This is the major journal in the field of composite materials. For the study of impact damage of composite laminates, this paper presents comprehensive experimental and numerical results. Many of these results are now used as benchmarks by other researchers in the field. This work is collaborative with the Department of Aerospace Engineering,Tohoku University, Japan and further funding (Fund (B) No. 17360404, US$130K) has been provided by the Japan Ministry of Education to continue the collaborative research (N. Hu, hu@ssl.mech.tohku.ac.jp). |
