Ligninolytic fungi and their enzymes are an option for the treatment of these wastewaters; however, the Colombian biodiversity has not been deeply evaluated for fungal strains with ligninolytic activities. In this research, 92 Colombian fungal isolates were collected from four locations around the Aburr\'a valley, Antioquia, Colombia. Their decolorizing activities were evaluated using Novacron Red, Remazol Black and Turquoise Blue in solid and liquid media at different culture conditions. The best fungal isolate was evaluated in the bioremediation of two real effluents and its enzymatic extracts were used in the decolorization of the three dyes., issn= 2197-4365, doi= 10.1186/s40643-016-0084-x, url= http://dx.doi.org/10.1186/s40643-016-0084-x</notes><college>COLLEGE NANME</college><department>Medicine</department><CollegeCode>COLLEGE CODE</CollegeCode><DepartmentCode>PMSC</DepartmentCode><institution>Swansea University</institution><apcterm/><lastEdited>2017-01-27T16:47:08.4808129</lastEdited><Created>2016-02-18T16:54:43.7819629</Created><path><level id="1">Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences</level><level id="2">Swansea University Medical School - Medicine</level></path><authors><author><firstname>Jersson</firstname><surname>Plácido</surname><order>1</order></author><author><firstname>Xiomara</firstname><surname>Chanagá</surname><order>2</order></author><author><firstname>Santiago</firstname><surname>Ortiz-Monsalve</surname><order>3</order></author><author><firstname>María</firstname><surname>Yepes</surname><order>4</order></author><author><firstname>Amanda</firstname><surname>Mora</surname><order>5</order></author><author><firstname>Jersson</firstname><surname>Placido Escobar</surname><orcid>0000-0002-2070-3366</orcid><order>6</order></author></authors><documents><document><filename>0026432-27012017164624.pdf</filename><originalFilename>PlacidoDegredationVOR.pdf</originalFilename><uploaded>2017-01-27T16:46:24.5200000</uploaded><type>Output</type><contentLength>1956102</contentLength><contentType>application/pdf</contentType><version>Version of Record</version><cronfaStatus>true</cronfaStatus><embargoDate>2017-01-27T00:00:00.0000000</embargoDate><documentNotes>This article is distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided you give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and the source, provide a link to the Creative Commons license, and indicate if changes were made.</documentNotes><copyrightCorrect>true</copyrightCorrect></document></documents><OutputDurs/></rfc1807> |
