Abstract: There is no doubt that providing students with feedback must be included in any successful ‎pedagogical programme. However, there are so many discussions about how, when, and on ‎what; teachers must provide students with feedback. ‎This paper proposes to give formative feedback on (unmarked) examples and discusses some ‎pedagogical advantages of the approach. The paper is also intended to investigate the effects ‎of this method on students’ learning in a case study applied on Year-2 Electrical and ‎Electronics students at Swansea University, UK. ‎
