Abstract: |
The increase of class sizes and student ability distribution in the higher education sector has driven educators to look beyond traditional lecture theatre to teach. Visual stimulation encourages the student interaction with the content or concept, making teaching with videos an attractive mechanism for information retention. The lightboard videos are engaging as it allows the student to see the educator and the writing at the same time. This paper describes our journey from creating the video recording suite, disseminating the technology, gathering funds, engaging lectures to develop videos and capturing the students’ feedback. |
