Item Description: This paper has been published in J. Mater. Chem. in 2011 (nr. citations =4; impact factor 2011 =5.968); This is the first investigation regarding the electrochemiluminescence (ECL) Sensing Properties of Water Soluble Core-Shell Quantum Dots incorporated within Nafion Composite Films as a sensor for the detection of glutathione (GHS), which is relevant for understanding oxidation mechanism in cell biology. The author designed the experiment and wrote the paper. This is the most significant paper published as a result of a Marie Curie Reintegration Grant held at Dublin City University.
