Abstract: The rapid expansion of the chemical industry leads to more environmental pollutants that are difficult to break down through traditional treatment methods. Therefore, it is crucial to introduce a new class of catalysts. The current study examines the simple production and catalytic abilities of Au-Pt-Pd nanofluids (NFs), promising agents for nano catalysts. We have used a one-pot microwave-assisted reduction approach to synthesize the trimetallic NFs. The UV–Vis spectroscopy results indicate that a clear single plasmon resonance peak of NFs has been identified within the 519–545 nm range. Furthermore, the morphological feature of the as-synthesized NFs has been analysed using a transmission electron microscope. The NFs have an average size of 9–12 nm and are spherical in shape. The analysis of the synthesized NFs by energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy indicates that they formed in the ratio of 1.3:1:4.3.
