Abstract: The strong coupling regime of Quantum Field theories is studied by using two different frameworks in String Theory. First, by using brane configurations and studying its dynamics, we propose an electric-magnetic duality for three dimensional Yang-Mills Chern-Simons with and without SUSY. By analising the infrared structure we check the validity of this duality. Then, using the Gauge/Gravity correspondance, we study the strong coupling regime of SQFT in different dimensions, which may or not be conformal. We compute some observables and propose that the theories confine.
