KT managed the research team for this project. Together with CL and PH this included drawing on recent theoretical and empirical work to modify and adapt the intervention, the acquisition of funding, and study design. KT took the lead on the design of measures, data analysis, data interpretation and manuscript drafting.This approach to healthy eating is currently being piloted in Ireland, has been adapted for use across Scotland ('Fruit Plus') and has influenced practice and policy across Wales and England (Department of Health, Food Standards Agency).
