A myriad of vocational qualifications and other forms of education are available for healthcare assistants and assistant practitioners to access. When engaging with education programmes for the first time, understanding the different qualifications can be quite daunting. Aneurin Bevan Health Board in Gwent has therefore developed guidance based on the Education Levels in the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. The board introduced a quick reference guide for support workers, registered staff, lead trainers and managers. The quick reference guide has been beneficial in outlining in a succinct format an overview of vocational qualifications. |
